Greg and Kam return once again, and although it was a slow week in music. We still have much to talk about. The first being the album dropped off by legendary rock group The Gorillaz. They’ve released a new album dubbed “Song Machine” which showcases their experience and versatility. Kam called the group “forward thinking” and we must agree. From the album quality and production to the pure sonics. They sound as if they’re in the room with you.
We also discuss an artist you may not have heard from. Sevdaliza, we felt she needed mentioning because her albums are so good. The combinations of sounds she uses is truly something you have to hear. There’s no proper way to describe it. You should just take a listen, it definitely gets the WAVYPACK stamp of approval. We also cover the election, as if it needed anymore coverage. This year’s election was hype but was underwhelming come the official announcement of our new president.
Lastly, if you thought because the NBA season is over, we wouldn’t talk NBA. Think again. We will always talk basketball because it’s the core of who we are at WAVYPACK. None of this NBA talk is concrete. There’s a lot of speculation, yet we’ll see if some of it comes to fruition come the start of the next NBA season. We cover a pretty good bit and now have an official fact checker, our boy Isaac. We’re moving on up. Anyway, we hope you guys enjoy this episode and we’ll be back next week for another episode of The Wave This Week podcast only available here at WAVYPACK.
