This collaboration has been on every sneaker collector’s mind since they originally announced. Kim Jones then revealed them at the Fall 2020 men’s show in Miami. The Dior x Air Jordan 1 High/Low OG are so limited, they’ve become grails for sneaker collectors overnight. Today the French Luxury fashion house finally announced the release strategy for the limited-edition collaborative sneakers and its capsule collection.
According to Dior, both the high and low Air Jordan 1 OGs will release via an exclusive online experience. Customers who’d like a chance at purchasing the shoes will have to register for a guaranteed opportunity to purchase the highly coveted sneaker. When you register, they’ll ask you for your preferred model. And a pop-in store or pop-up pickup location and size. They will only allow you to register once for the desired style and size.

If they select you, you’ll receive a notice via SMS or email shortly after. Dior will send you a unique QR code with with your name. Dior will require you to provide a valid government-issued ID at the time of purchase. As you likely know, these sneakers are extremely limited. Each pop-up location will hold a select number of shoes. So it’ll be under a first-come, first-served basis even if they select you so be ready.
Regarding the Air Dior capsule, it’ll also be available at pop-in stores from July. Only two pop-up stores will carry the capsule. One at Selfridges Corner Shop in London and the other at Taikoo Li in Chengdu. The pop-ups will also showcase each step in crafting the collaboration, highlighting the excellence of savoir faire in Dior’s ateliers.
