The Nike Dunk Low Retro SP ‘St. John’s’ celebrates the silhouette’s 35th anniversary with a two-tone color scheme inspired by the original Be True to Your School series from 1985. This pair is essentially a low-top reworking of the Dunk made for the St. John’s University men’s basketball team. The all-leather upper combines a white base with red overlays and a matching red Swoosh. Nike branding hits appear on the woven tongue tag, sockliner and heel tab.

Sneaker culture has shifted once again. These would’ve likely went under the radar 10 years ago. But we’re in a new day in sneaker culture where Nike Dunks and Nike SB’s have made a resurgence. It will be interesting to see what happens from here, but for now. The Nike Dunk Low is a very popular shoe. The “University Red” iteration drop on July 1 for a retail price of $100. You can take a look at the detailed images in the gallery above. We’re also adding some links on where you can pick up a pair.
