East London-based jewelry label Hatton Labs continues its rise with a new collection for Fall/Winter 2022. Dubbed “La Croisette,” the collection highlights the titular area of Cannes, home of the Cannes Film Festival. In July of 2013, this area became home to the third largest jewelry heist of all time. 72 of the finest jewels in the world owned by Israeli billionaire Lev Avnerovich were on display at the Carlton Hotel where they were stolen by an armed thief. “La Croisette” eloquently presents reimagined pieces inspired by the infamous event.

Most notably, the XL Anchor bracelet features a rainbow of jewels with links intersecting throughout the piece. Hatton Labs has championed this opulent style through previous collections and their Playboy collaboration. Also featured in the pieces are references to the Carlton Hotel, such as lock and key earrings, doormen hats hanging from necklaces, French Poodle earrings, and more. Further, Hatton Labs’ own Jack Cannon and Joe Gelb designed every piece in the Italian-made collection.
