Donald Glover’s Atlanta is finally set to return in 2022 after a long three-year hiatus. On Christmas Day, director Hiro Murai shared the first official trailer for the landmark series‘ third season.
Season 3 is already looking much different than its predecessors. Earn, Darius, Van, and Alfred aka Paper Boi are on tour in Europe enjoying newfound success. But with such fame and fortune come a new set of issues. The trailer features the entire main cast of Glover, LaKeith Stanfield, Zazie Beetz, and Brian Tyree Henry.

In a series of tweets late last year, Glover described the upcoming season as “some of the best television ever made,” further saying “Sopranos [are the] only ones who can touch us.” Through its first two seasons, Atlanta has won five Emmys, two Golden Globes, and one Critics Choice Award, among others.
Season 3 of Atlanta begins with a two-episode premiere on FX on March 24th. The episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the next day. You can watch the full trailer in the player above.
