After more than half a year of anticipation and evolving previews, the new Air Jordan 4 “Denim,” also known as “Worn Blue,” is officially set to release this week. The highly anticipated women’s exclusive colorway has now been loaded onto Nike’s SNKRS platform with a complete set of official images, confirming its imminent drop on Saturday, August 9.
The journey for this release began with early rumors of a new denim-clad Air Jordan 4 joining the already exciting 2025 lineup for the silhouette. This marks the first in-house denim take on the model since the celebrated Levi’s collaboration back in 2018, and the design has been a point of interest for months as initial mock-ups gave way to early in-hand looks.

The final product showcases a sophisticated and unique construction. The shoe’s upper is crafted with a two-tone denim, featuring a standard blue on the lower panels and a lighter, more worn-in shade on the upper sections. The design also plays with color blocking on opposite sides of the shoe, with a mostly light blue appearance on the medial side and a darker shade on the lateral. This denim is complemented by an off-white midsole and a classic gum rubber outsole at the toe and heel.
What truly elevates this release are the premium finishing touches. The sneaker comes with a striking golden dubrae on the laces that reads “Jordan Family,” adding a touch of luxury to the otherwise utilitarian material. The pair also arrives in a special, denim-inspired shoe box, enhancing its collectible appeal for enthusiasts.
The women’s exclusive Air Jordan 4 “Denim” is scheduled to release on August 9 via the Nike SNKRS app and at select Jordan Brand retailers. The price has been set at an adjusted amount of $220 USD
