The annual Spotify Wrapped is here, and the yearly roundup data shows Bad Bunny as Spotify’s most-streamed artist worldwide for 2022. This marks the Puerto Rican superstar’s third consecutive year topping Spotify’s annual global ranks.
How Bad Bunny Became The Biggest Name In Pop Culture
Bad Bunny’s massive year was thanks to his monumental album Un Verano Sin Ti, which recently earned a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. The project was also the most-streamed album around the world this year. In honor of his Spotify streaming achievement, the company is turning its heart icon into album art from Un Verano Sin Ti. Bad Bunny was also crowned as Apple Music’s Artist of the Year.
Joining Bad Bunny in Spotify’s unsinkable top five are Drake, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and BTS. Drake was the most-streamed artist of the year in the U.S., followed by Taylor Swift. Additionally, Harry Styles’ single “As It Was” off his Grammy-nominated album Harry’s House was the most streamed song worldwide. Take a look below for more of Spotify’s annual streaming ranks.
