In honor of Latin Heritage Month, Nike is rolling out a series of “Somos Familia” footwear. Translating to “We Are Family,” the Dunk High rendition boasts decorative textiles in varying earth tones. Presenting, official images of the Nike Dunk High “Somos Familia”.
Nike Adds a White and Royal Blue Dunk Low to Its “Worldwide” Pack
Most notably, Nike opts for a split-canvas design for the base layer toe boxes, quarters, and collars. The left side of each sneaker features a mocha shade with green and gold detailing, while the right side sees a contrasting black-and-white variation. The toe boxes and rear collars show the two designs coming together, with the latter portion opting for a ribbed finish. Golden leather overlays add additional vibrancy to the offering, stamped with rich red suede Swooshes. Further, an orange debossed insignia adorns the lateral heels and appears again on the insoles. Finally, a white midsole meets a gum rubber outsole to complete the design.
