In 1991’s The Addams Family and 1993’s Addams Family Values, Ricci first appeared as a young Wednesday Addams. Since the announcement in March, Ricci’s return to the franchise had been kept a mystery. Thornhill could serve as a teacher-mother figure to Wednesday, who has begun her studies at the private school Nevermore Academy and plans to enhance her psychic skills.
The show also has a sizable ensemble full of well-known actors, including Gwendoline Christie as Principal Larissa Weems, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams. Wednesday arrives on Netflix on November 23rd. You can watch the official trailer in the player above.
