Los Angeles-based designer and founder of Seventh Heaven brand John Ross launched a new independent magazine known as SevenSevenSeven. Across 168 pages, Issue 1 showcases various mediums of art and design along with editorials on the cover star Chief Keef and sevensevenseven artist Yung Kayo. The latter of these editorials comes as a collaboration with Arc’teryx.

Photographer Kevin Moon shot both the Chief Keef cover and the Yung Kayo feature for SevenSevenSeven‘s first issue. Additional contributors for the issue include digital artist HJR, New York artist Tony Tafuro, French soft sculptor Anne-Valerie Dupond, surrealist Chicago painter Mikey Coleman, and Sp5der Worldwide. Among the more eye-catching contributions is a ‘BEAR WITNESS’ drawing made by rapper Tay-K from jail in San Antonio, Texas. Upon purchase, the magazine comes with an exclusive logo sticker pack designed in collaboration with VERDY, who also designed the fonts used in the issue.
Issue 1 of SevenSevenSeven is available to purchase now as a physical-only release on sevensevenseven.life. The issue will see a wider global release on June 24th at select bookstores and newsstands.
