Bandai Namco just dropped off a new teaser trailer for an all new Gundam TV series. The anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, which is the franchise’s first new show in seven years, reveaos that for the first time, Gundam will receive its first female protagonist.

They also slated the heroine to have her own mobile suit, called the Gundam Aerial. The conference held by Bandai Namco also revealed that a prequel project for the anime will soon arrive, titled Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Prologue. With its own storyline and special mobile suits, including the Gundam Lfrith and Beguir-Beu. They slated the prequel will debut later this summer at the site of the life-size moving Gundam statue at the Gundam Factory Yokohama, as well as in Tokyo’s Odaiba, in Shanghai and Fukuoka.
