Tyler, the Creator’s streetwear imprint Golf Wang has officially announced their first drop of 2022. Titled the Golf Championship Collection, the capsule features basketball-themed garments and accessories.
Foremost, the highlight of the collection is a letterman-style varsity jacket in syrup-brown and bone white hues. Six star-shaped patches on the sleeves reference two three-peats for the brand. The color palette also features a sky blue tone, particularly on a luxurious basketball jersey and shorts set. Limited edition capsule branding puts a Golf Wang spin on the classic New Jersey Nets logo. The logo is displayed prominently on the chest of the jersey and similarly on the back of the varsity jacket. Further, a velour warm-up tracksuit in bone white with brown and blue accents looks like the perfect pre-game fit. Additional accessories include a gold championship ring, headband, and special edition basketball. At the moment, it’s unknown whether the collection will feature additional items upon release.

Alongside the announcement, Golf Wang also shared a lookbook starring Utah Jazz guard and 2021 Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson. Clarkson is considered one of the most fashionable players in the NBA, with his pregame tunnel outfits regularly gaining viral attention.
The Golf Championship Collection is slated to drop on January 22nd at 9 AM PST on their website, as well as at 11 AM at their flagship store.
