Apple has finally released its AirTags accessory, announcing the new device at its Spring Loaded event on Tuesday.

The small device connects to Apple’s FindMy app to ensure that whatever they’re attached to can be easily located. Apple has even fitted the lightweight, water-and dust-resistant AirTags with speakers which helps drastically with finding them. They also feature a small cover that makes it easy to exchange the battery when it dies.

In addition to the release of AirTags. Apple once again joins forces with luxury house Hermès for some high-end leather straps. We’re not sure why anyone would get a $300 accesory for a $29 product but hey, more power to you. You can also purchase standard straps. Those who’ve purchased the Hermès-made Apple Watch straps will feel right at home.

“We’re excited to bring this incredible new capability to iPhone users with the introduction of AirTag… to help them keep track of and find the important items in their lives,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of worldwide iPhone product marketing in a statement. “With its design, unparalleled finding experience, and built-in privacy and security features, AirTag will provide customers with another way to leverage the power of the Apple ecosystem and enhance the versatility of iPhone.”

If you’d like to purchase AirTags. They go on sail on April 23 for $29 USD a piece, with a four-pack of AirTags available for $99 USD. Let us know what you think in the comments section below. Lastly for more tech news,
