Stüssy’s been around since 1980 and for its 40th year anniversary, the streetwear giant teams up with Nike once again for an Air Force 1s collaboration in both “Fossil Stone” and “Black” colorways. Today we have official images of the latter.
When you first see the Stüssy Air Force 1 in Black it appears to be simple black Air Force 1 Low. Where it differs is in its construction and material selection. The upper features a hemp-like material while the Nike Swooshes come as thickly embroidered thread. The heel of the shoe features the same textures. With a slight difference being the silver-trimmed Stüssy medallion.
We get the official Stüssy logo on the tongue tag and toebox. the former puts forth Shawn Stussy‘s recognizable signature above International Stussy Tribe callouts to New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. On the toe box we find Stüssy’s Chanel-inspired double S logo. The collar of the shoe features premium leather for a premium feel. This all sits atop a black midsole to finish things off.
The Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Black drops on December 13 for a retail price of $130. Although this has yet to be confirmed by Stüssy or Nike. You can take a detailed look in the gallery above.
