Slam Jam and Nike Sportswear will release the next Dunk High collaboration they have in the works for 2020. The iteration in question dubbed the “Clear Black.” Which is a followup to the “Light Gray” pair that released earlier this year. The “Clear Black” version greatly uses tone and texture. Nothing too complicated, just the right touches in the right places to make a solid sneaker.
It all starts with the upper that blends white leather with black overlays. Being mindful of the attention to details. For instance, the sneaker features Nike check marks in a smoked black plastic that goes all the way to the rear to reveal a Slam Jam graphic. You’ll also find two-toned laces that give the shoe the look as if it comes with white and black laces installed.
The Nike branding found on the tongue comes upside down for a welcomed touch. The insoles also feature the graphic print. A single line of perforations makes its way to the toe box for a unique look from the traditional pattern found on most Nike Dunks. This all sits atop icy blue midsoles and black outsoles to round things off.
