One of our favorite brands, Stone Island, just released a visual Lookbook for its latest Fall/Winter 2020 collection. In the video we find a large variety of items we know Stone Island for. Starting with some technical outerwear pieces to hand stitched crews. You’ll find elegantly dyed down jackets that showcase the brand’s selective color palette. These are styles and colors we just don’t see in other outerwear brands. Soft burgundy, faded yet somehow vibrant purples, paired with bright yellows and welcomed earth tones give the collective a dynamic look.
The knits take center stage with this collection. Starting with the use of Geelong lambswool for a few of the jumpers. They spin this wool differently from merino wool, featuring criss-cross fibers that are far thicker in appearance, yet soft in texture. They take the yarn from the first shear of seven-month-old lambs.
We know what you’re here for. It’s the hoodies and tees. We’ll, we’re here to tell you, Stone Island did an exceptional job with its jersey fabrics for this collection. Especially the heathered logo tees. The appearance gives off a faded look, giving it a vintage appeal. They also highlight their parkas and coast, which feature high performance linings and closures.
