We've compiled a list of four great albums to kick-start your weekend.

With the weekend finally here, we’ve compiled a small list of albums we feel will help you kick-start your weekend. Starting with the debut album of the late Pop Smoke. To the collaborative effort of Gucci Mane and his So Icy team. We tried to make sure there’s something on here for everybody. I was also recently put on to PLANET’S MAD by a good friend, so I included that project on this list.

The last album on the list is an essential listen. With everything going on in the world, it’s always nice to catch a glimpse from a fresh perspective. Keleketla! by Keleketla! & Coldcut features artists from all around the globe who come together to create a truly sonically beautiful album. We hope you enjoy the weekend! R.I.P. Pop Smoke.

Pop Smoke – Shoot For the Stars Aim For The Moon

The late New York rapper’s posthumous album has finally landed. The 19 track LP features the lead singles “Aim For the Moon”, “Make it Rain” and many others. The project also has a star-studded lineup with Quavo, Swae Lee, Lil baby, DaBaby, Future, 50cent, Roddy Ricch, Tyga and many others. You can listen to the project below.

Gucci Mane – So Icy Summer

Gucci Mane returns with a new 24-song project. The new LP includes the lead singles  “Both Sides” and “Still Remember”, and it’s a banger. The project not only slaps but features a ton of new artists, the chief goal of the project seems to be an introduction to the new artists signed as Gucci spotlights Foogiano and Pooh Shiesty and many other newcomers.

Baauer – PLANET’S MAD

mad-1

The London-raised beatsmith’s sophomore LP continues to showcase his mainstream versatility. However, unlike its predecessor, PLANET’S MAD sees Baauer soaring on his own two wings — for the most part, that is. A sole guest appears during this album’s sub-40-minute runtime.

Keleketla! & Coldcut – Keleketla!

Artists from Johannesburg to London and from Lagos to L.A. come together on the self-titled debut from Keleketla! The name says it all. A word for “response,” it highlights the project’s essence: a musical conversation that transcends the distance between artists across the globe.
