Nashville’s Jake Germany aka Phangs has such a raspy unique voice. His delivery and songwriting put him in a class of his own. His last few projects _A BREAK, A_WRECK and A FLASH_ are stellar projects. Each in their own right, but his latest single ‘Okay With That’ set the tone. The track features smooth production and acoustic guitar with PHANGS signature tone. It almost melts, the record sheds light on being ok with losing someone you love. Being ok with letting go after things in a relationship don’t work out.
What I enjoyed about the record the most was how simple its delivery was. Everything was right where it needed to be, exactly when it needed to be there.
