After months of waiting, Sony finally revealed the design of the upcoming PlayStation 5. They also announced new features and accessories that will compliment the new home console. Some of the biggest names in gaming took to the stage to showcase the power of the new PlayStation.
The Sony Playstation 5, looks very similar to the controller revealed before it. It features a white and black color scheme with lights giving off a blue glow. Just like the Xbox Series X, the PlayStation 5 also sits upright. The PlayStation 5 comes in two versions. A Digital-only version of the console and a standard. The digital version removes the disk drive so you’ll only be able to enjoy digital titles, hence the name. Similar to what they did with the digital Xbox One S.
Both models come with a HD Camera Pulse 3D headset and a media remote. We don’t have any official pricing yet, but reports state that Sony is having trouble keeping the cost down with the high production demands. Expect the Sony PlayStation 5 this holiday season, and we’ll keep you posted when we learn more regarding the official price.
